# **How to Use the ChatGPT External AI in Redraw**
The **ChatGPT External AI** in Redraw is an integrated API that allows you to create, edit, and render images quickly and intelligently using custom prompts or reference images.
With this tool, you can automate creative processes, generate complex compositions, and personalize results according to your needs. In this article, you’ll learn how to use it effectively!

### Step 1: Access the Tool
1. In Redraw’s side menu, click on **“External AIs.”**
2. Select **ChatGPT** to open the tool.
3. You’ll see the main options available, including rendering, editing, and automatic prompt generation.

### Step 2: Choose How You Want to Work
When accessing the tool, you can select the method that best fits your project:

###### Use Your Own Reference Image
* Upload an image
* Add a prompt to guide the creation, editing, or rendering process
###### Work With Prompt Only
* Generate an image from scratch by describing all desired details in the text field
###### Generate Automatic Prompts
* Use the **“random prompt”** option
* The AI will create a base prompt that you can edit and personalize to achieve the desired result

### Step 3: Define the Image Dimensions
Before creating or editing, select the size of the image to be generated:
* **16:9** → Ideal for presentations, banners, and widescreen materials
* **2:3** → Great for vertical compositions such as mockups and posters
* **1:1** → Square format, perfect for social media and covers
