How Redraw’s Image Evaluation Works
Understand Redraw’s Image Evaluation Tool
Redraw’s Image Evaluation tool analyzes the quality of your scene before rendering. It highlights areas for improvement to ensure the best possible AI performance.
Where to find it
After you upload an image to Redraw, a blue speedometer icon appears in the bottom-right corner. Click this icon to open a side panel with your overall score and a detailed breakdown.
What it evaluates
Each criterion is scored from 0 to 10:
- Lighting – Checks whether the light in the scene is balanced.
- Framing – Evaluates the composition and how well the main subject is framed.
- Resolution – Measures the sharpness and clarity of the image.
- Shadows – Verifies whether there is adequate depth and volume in the scene.
Next to each criterion, there’s an information icon that links to Redraw Academy videos. These tutorials show you how to improve lighting, shadows, resolution, and framing with practical examples.
Why it matters
The evaluation helps you produce more accurate results, reduce credit waste, understand key technical aspects, and make quick adjustments before the final render.
