Working with Projects in Redraw

Does Redraw create a complete architectural project from scratch?

Not yet. We completely understand the expectation of creating a full architectural project from scratch within Redraw, and this is actually part of our platform’s long-term vision.

Today, Redraw still does not automatically create a complete architectural project from scratch, such as the initial definition of floor plans, walls, and layout in a fully automated way.

So, how does Redraw help with project development?

At the moment, our focus is on enhancing and accelerating project development from an existing base. This means helping you save time, explore variations, improve presentations, and develop your ideas more efficiently throughout the process.

Can Redraw support the early stages of a project?

Yes. We now offer a new AI Assistants feature, which can support the early stages of project conception and strategic development.

In which areas can the AI Assistants help?

The AI Assistants can provide support in different areas, such as:

  • Architectural design: turning a briefing into a concept, design direction, site plan, and spatial strategy
  • Interior design: support with materials, color palette, furniture, and composition
  • Landscaping: defining concepts and organizing outdoor areas
  • Humanized floor plans: improving the visual presentation of the project
  • Architectural standards and regulations: technical support for safer decision-making
  • Presentation, positioning, and commercial strategy: assistants focused on communication and project value presentation

Can I use a real or personal image as a base to create a visualization?

Yes. It is already possible to generate an initial visualization from a real photo, such as land, facades, or existing buildings, using our integrated partner AI, NanoBanana Pro.

In this case, you simply upload the image as a reference and describe in the prompt what you would like to build, modify, or visualize. The AI can generate a new visual proposal based on that image.

Does this feature work for renovations or transformations of existing spaces?

Yes. This workflow works very well for users who want to explore renovation, transformation, or reinterpretation ideas for a real space, as well as test architectural concepts from an existing image.

What is the role of the Redraw platform in this process?

In general, the Redraw platform is more focused on architectural renderings and 3D projects with professional fidelity, and it is widely used to work on:

  • finishes
  • materials
  • environments
  • project presentations

In other words, even when the idea starts with a real image, Redraw can be a great ally in improving the project’s presentation and visual refinement.

Even without creating everything from scratch, is Redraw already useful in the process?

Yes. Even though fully automatic creation from scratch is not yet available, Redraw can already act as a strong ally in the conception, development, and presentation of your project.

What can I use as a starting point within the platform?

You can start with different types of material, such as:

  • floor plan
  • sketch
  • visual reference
  • initial briefing
  • real image of the location, such as a photo of land, facade, or existing environment

With that, we can better guide you on how to make the most of the platform’s current features and also indicate which AI Assistants can help at each stage.

Can Redraw help me choose the best workflow for my project?

Yes. Based on the stage your project is in and the type of material you already have, we can guide you on which platform resources make the most sense for your case and which AI Assistants can support you from conception to final presentation.

How can the role of Redraw in project work be summarized today?

Today, Redraw does not fully replace the automated creation of architectural projects from scratch, but it already offers resources and AI Assistants that make the process faster, more strategic, and visually stronger.

In addition, it is already possible to start from a real image to explore transformation possibilities and initial visualizations, which greatly expands the ways the platform can be used.

We are available to help you understand the best path within Redraw for the type of project you want to develop.
