PRACTICAL GUIDE TO USING THE “IMPROVE RENDER V4” FEATURE IN REDRAW

In this guide, you’ll learn how to use the Improve Render V4 feature, designed to improve existing images with higher quality, stronger visual direction, and more predictable results.

This functionality is ideal for anyone looking to elevate the realism, finishing, and presentation of project images quickly and efficiently.

1. Access the Platform

2. Access the “Improve Render” Feature

From the main menu, select the Improve Render option.

Make sure you are using the V4 model, which brings significant improvements in image interpretation and control over the final result.


3. Upload Your Image

Click on Upload File and submit the image you want to enhance.

The image can be:

  • a previously generated render
  • a conceptual image
  • a project base image


4. Choose the Enhancement Type

One of the main improvements in V4 is the ability to select targeted enhancements without relying solely on prompts.


You can choose from:

Refinement

Adds elegance and visual balance to the image, improving composition and finishing.

Fidelity

Enhances image quality while preserving as much of the original render as possible.

Realism

Brings the image closer to a photograph, with more natural adjustments to lighting, materials, and depth.

Premium

Applies a more sophisticated and polished look, ideal for presentations and commercial materials.

Lighting

Adjusts scene lighting to make it more balanced, pleasant, and visually coherent.


Control: Original vs Creative

The control bar indicates how the selected enhancement behaves, showing the balance between fidelity to the original and the level of creative intervention by AI.

  • Closer to “Original” → preserves more of the uploaded image
  • Closer to “Creative” → applies more changes, refinements, and visual interpretation
Important: this bar cannot be adjusted by the user. It serves only as a visual reference to indicate how each enhancement behaves.

Each option (Refinement, Fidelity, Realism, Premium, and Lighting) already has its own fixed configuration and specific position between original and creative.

Therefore, the most important step is choosing the enhancement based on your goal. The bar helps you anticipate the type of result.


5. (Optional) Use a Prompt

You can also add a prompt to better guide the result.


Examples:

  • lighting style
  • desired materials
  • scene atmosphere
  • aesthetic direction

V4 has improved prompt interpretation, translating your instructions more accurately.
